Art that gives twice
I believe art can do more than decorate a space.
Every piece I create begins with the hope of encouraging well-being, curiosity, compassion, reflection, and meaningful connection. Whether I’m creating an original collage, painting, handmade object, or everyday product, my goal is to make artwork that gently invites people to slow down, notice the world around them, and discover something new about themselves.
I also believe art can strengthen communities.
That is why I have committed to donating 50% of the profit from every Hoshi Hana purchase, after expenses, to nonprofit organizations and community causes through rotating fundraising initiatives that align with these values.
My hope is that every Hoshi Hana purchase creates two kinds of impact: enriching the life of the person who owns it while helping strengthen the communities we all share.

Current Organization: San Francisco Mime Troupe
The San Francisco Mime Troupe has been creating free, socially engaged theater for more than six decades, using humor, music, and storytelling to encourage dialogue, critical thinking, and community engagement.
Their mission reflects many of the values at the heart of Hoshi Hana: creativity, accessibility, compassion, and the belief that art can help create a better world.
